I am writing this blog to share some informational facts and some personal experiences with living with older brothers. I will also talk about sibling relationships and I may throw a few survival tips your way. I mean, if you live with all boys and you share one bathroom, you may need a few.

You can expect this blog to be a bit humorous at times and then serious at others. It will get humorous when I’m talking about personal experiences because my brothers are quite the bunch. It will be more serious when I do some research about sibling relationships and things like that.

So you may be wondering why I wrote this blog. I had never really put much thought into writing a blog before. Then about a week ago, my journalism teacher inspired me to put one together.

At first, I was having a really hard time figuring out what to write about. I wanted to base my blog on something that I could personally relate to yet still learn more about. So then I thought about my brothers. It is safe to say that we don’t always get along but when we do, we always have a laugh. So that was it. I could write stories about my brothers and our personal relationship and then research information about sibling relationships in general.

On top of all that, I am also going to write about how growing up with four older brothers has affected my life. I can honestly say that my life is a LOT different than my friends’ lives. My mom and I have are a lot closer than my friends are with their moms.  I’m not the typical moody teenager, my brothers cover that. :p I guess it’s true that we girls need to stick together. (:
